"Monstrous Regiment" and John Knox's "The First Blast..."
I am in the midst of comtemplating what I should write about for my paper. I want to incorporate Jonh Knox's "The First Blast of the Trumpet Against the Monstrous Regiment of Women " because I found it to be an intriguing publication. Thank you Mr. Gaiman for pointing it out to me. I want to tie in the physical and psycological differences between males and females in "Monstrous Regiment". I want to include the multiple species discussed such as the igor, vampire, and troll. I found all the characters intriguing and what made the difference in the genders. I plan on discussing gender roles in the society.
Does anyone have any suggestions about the correlation between the two works? I would appreciate any guidance in creating a paper that flows. I am not sure how I would intro the paper and what needs to be the main linking element.

Courtney, this sounds like a great idea. If you're looking for further connections between Knox's polemic and Pratchett's novel, keep in mind that Knox was writing as (from our perspective) a religious fundamentalist, who viewed the authority of women as blasphemous ... or, dare I say it, an abomination? I wonder: If you search an online text of Knox's screed for the word "abomination," how many times might it come up?
