Humor in American Gods

Okay, so maybe I'm a little odd, but am I the only one who finds parts of American Gods funny? Even when you would think there wouldn't be a place for it, it kinda creeps up on you. My favorite part so far is when he meets one of Wednesday's ravens the woods. I find the whole scene humorous. I was just wondering what everyone else thought...or maybe it's just me. **shrugs shoulders**

I agree with you. There are some funny parts in this book. The raven scene was so funny. I guess it's like a celebrity who has a certain saying and people are always asking them to say that.

Well, I'm shrugging my shoulders with you. There's some great humor in the book, which makes it seem so much shorter than it is. I laugh during the relationship so far (I'm just over halfway right now) between Wednesday and Shadow, just because of their cameraderie. It's definitely fun to read (except for the crazy sex at the beginning but that's another topic)

I bookmarked the part in the woods when he asks the raven to say 'Nevermore.' I thought that was hilarious.
