No Face
Why did no face turn bad when he was in the bathhouse? I don't feel like he posed a threat outside when he followed Chihero to Granny's or before she let him into the bathhouse. Did he turn bad because no one loved him or accepted him and this was resolved when he went to live with Granny? Or was he trying to teach them some sort of lesson?

The lady that was helping Chihero said that it was the bathhouse that was evil (as she was helping the girl escape to the train station)...so maybe it had to do with the greed of everyone there (and/or possibly taking on the personality of the people he ate...I noticed that he did grow frog legs after eating that guy)...
I did want to add that I highly enjoyed No Face as a character. He had back burner to Chihiro and dragon boy but he/it was just so interesting, and I think brought a lot to the feature, and you must admit fake gold!! I think a nice test to see Chihiro's loyaties...
and how ironic that they cleaned the "big tub" so that it could be messed by the Stink spirit...who was actually a ?river spirit?...with a bunch o crap stuck in/on him...
Like i said..REALLY enjoyed this movie! It was filled with so many interesting creatures and characters...
ohhh, also one more thing as I continue to proctastinate on my paper! I was waiting for reprecution for the girl going to the pigpen by herself...they all squealed at her but that was about it...dude made such a big deal about not going there without him. I think that was the next biggest thing besides the ending that made me go.."why was that there then?"
I hadn't noticed that No Face's legs were the frog's legs until you pointed it out. It was definitely his voice though. That does explain why no face got very greedy after he ate those people. Why did he ieat the frog in the first place though? I was confused as to why his personality changed so much.
