What's YOUR Zombie Contingency Plan?
Okay, this thread's purpose is to have each and every one of you put your zombie contingency plans into words. Don't worry. I'll add my own on Monday afternoon. Let the creative juices flow, and remember: here's a chance to make a post towards your requirement!

My zombie contingency plan is to always be around people that run more slowly than I do.
I don't know what I would do. I guess I could be like the people in "Dawn of the Dead" and lock myself in a mall with plenty of ammunition and a bunch of guns. At least that way I would have food and hopefully live a while before the zombies got to me inside.
Well, sorry this is late. My original plan was to fly to Sweden. Having lived there and found the people to be kind and peaceful, I'd rather be eaten by kind and peaceful zombies than American zombies (especially from the South). But after hearing Elizabeth's plan, my new contingency plan is to be the one with the duffel bag carrying her extra shotgun shells. :)
But seriously, great stuff, everybody.
I'm thinking that I'd hire a dentist to remove all thier teeth..that way they couldn't eat me brains, or at least bit through my skull. Like Liz I don't see why we couldn't live in peace (maybe have an endless supply of cool PJ's)...but just in case they would have to become paraplegic too. No teeth not able to hold weapons, can't cause harm and we are all cool...though if they don't have arms would they still be able to give us PJ pants? Anyway minor detail..there's always the CIA for that, right?
I suppose I should add one. I think the key to surviving a zombie attack is neutralizing them. Since they are already dead, you can't kill them. The goal would be to physically destroy their bodies. For this purpose the best weapons would probably be a low gauge shotgun and some grenades or IED's (Improvised Explosive Device) like pipe bombs. One wants to generate as much shrapnel as possible in order to tear the zombie bodies apart to the extent that they are useless. A good backup would be a machete. I think fire should be avoided as one would then be chased by flaming zombies. Most important would be to find out quickly how much damage must be done to neutralize them. For instance can the bodies move without their heads? Can limbs move independently? I guess that's all, so happy hunting!
