Mr. Norrell on screen
I haven't heard much about the movie version of the book at all, but am very excited it's coming. After watching The Lord of the RIngs: The Return of the King, this weekend, I think that Ian Holm, otherwise known as Bilbo Baggins, would make the BEST Gilbert Norrell. Any idea who could play the other characters? Maybe Adrian Brody for Strange because they talk about his big crooked nose. Does any one know if the cast is decided already?

I agree with the Adrian Brody as Strange comments. I think (and don't kill me for this) that Johnny Depp would also be good for the role. What's Colin Firth in? I'm trying to remember who he is.
Cody, Colin Firth was Mr. Darcy in the BBC "Pride and Prejudice" some years back, and more recently a romantic-comedy hero in such movies as "Bridget Jones' Diary" and "Love Actually."
I, too, would be happy with Ian Holm as Norrell, Alan Rickman as Childermass, Alan Cumming as Drawlight and Helena Bonham Carter as Lady Pole.
